This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Alvin and the Chipmunks. All opinions are 100% mine.

It has been a while since I recommended a movie for family night with the kids. But I thought I'd do just that today because my stepdaughter is spending spring break with us and you know what that means...Teen Day Care Adventure!!! Bring it on!!!

Our schedule goes out of whack whenever it's vacation time because when she's with us, we make sure she is able to spend time with her Northern Cali cousins too who she rarely sees. That means, they sleep over and take over my whole house. All 7 of them, sometimes 8, when the youngest cousin, a seven-year old gets allowed to come too.

Longstoryshort....

We always have movies up our sleeves, lots of food, and other forms of entertainment like video games and such. I am happy that Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeakquel, is now available on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Download. I am not afraid to add it to our arsenal of films to watch because these kids, despite their maturing interests now (what a big difference a few years make!), still dig these things. In fact, they enjoy it so much still (aside from the really scary ones that make them sleepless and leave the light on -- ergo, shooting up my electricity bill). I guess they appreciate the fun and the cuteness of this kind of movies too, surely alleviates the pressure of teenagedom. Especially if I serve warm cookies straight from the oven? Plus vanilla ice cream or milk? Boy, I start seeing 8-year olds all over again!

The hubs wants to buy it now and I am positive that it's not just because of our intended family bonding nights. It's because he really wants his own too that he can watch over and over. We even lingered at Blockbuster a few years ago while they were showing the earlier version of Alvin and the Chipmunks. We lingered until the movie was almost over but we had to leave because we were with another couple. It was very cute and entertaining I must say. Plus it brings memories of my childhood too. Betamax!!! I just loved it!

That's me on shopping day. Sooooo me down to the pearl strands...except for the "slashed" part. Jeans, yes, slash, no.

I had a grand time munkin' myself. How cool is that!
