A couple of days back, I wrote about the hubby's hobby (oh, it rhymes!) on anything automotive. That's a side job along with a main career that's totally related to each other. That's how the hubs earns his keep. And that's how the wifey earns her Chanel, LOL (and a Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag soon hopefully *hint* *hint*, I want it in white. Just kidding, just dreaming...)

He has spoken so many times about having that ultimate car project like his co-worker who recently showed us his finished vintage Ford that he's currently selling to a collector. We have yet to see the day with us. Perhaps in the near future when we move to a house with a bigger garage to convert into a shop and the whole nine yards. Meanwhile, the hubs is busy working on his old Honda Civic (in his head)!!! There are so many projects lined up for that old car which we managed to buy back from his ex-girlfriend. It is sitting on the car port of his parents' house waiting for some action....seemingly clawing for attention with it's faded paint and a cake of dust hugging it. First and foremost, we have to make it run, and then restore it back to some level of glory (at least) and then we can finally use it for errands when we don't want to use our "nice" ones.

I would like to have it painted right away if you ask me. The old paint has faded and chipped and it looks really pathetic. I don't mind having those high-tech looking vertical doors either (those you see only in sci-fi movies). Well, I didn't know those doors can exist in ordinary cars like a Honda, outside sci-fi movies. Especially if we want to make it our toy car? Why not!? And then maybe put some flames around it...lower it down, make it sound so vroom-vroom...I'm flying.

The thing is...it sits on the carport, useless for now.

Should we just make it run, and go ahead and sell it as is? That can go to my Chanel...uhrm...Balenciaga fund!
