Here in Cali, our spring probably feels like summer in most states. Guess what! Today, I drove home from work with the AC on in the car! Yes, the temps are up already!. And it didn't feel comfortable. It's the first time that I used the air conditioner in my car and I expect a lot more of these in the days to come.
Supper's ready and I'm just waiting for the hubs to come home. For tonight, I turbo-broiled marinated pork tenderloin and made a sauteed mung bean soup with spinach leaves. So, I'm all set for some rest....and American Idol! I am supposed to root for Thia Megia because she's Filipina and she's really got a beautiful voice, but I've been disappointed in her past performances. I wish she had more showmanship, confidence and expression to accompany that voice. So far, I am deeply impressed by Pia Toscano, and likewise greatly enamored to the cuteness of Scotty McReery despite his single-octave voice range. Cutely appealing anyway. My North Carolina boy! We'll see.
I had almost forgotten. I'm supposed to help my mom finish an article.Do you know what had been really helpful for me that one time I needed to do a lot of research but had so little time! These online sites providing custom term paper writing! Even if I'm not a student tasked to do a term paper, I am deeply grateful for the help of online term paper writers for saving my tush several times where information research is concerned. Especially when pressed for time and I need to pull bits and pieces of information for my own projects. I think I'm going to need them again, but I'm waiting. My usually out of whack schedule might just give me a chance to do stuff on my own.
Oooh, even this reggae girl Naima is growing into me!
Perhaps I'll concentrate on watching for now.
Til tomorrow! *luv always*

Kalungkot kasi napauwi si Thia. Hubby likes her...sabi nya she has the most beautiful voice daw. But like you said kulang sa emote eh. Nagulat ako kasi she was smiling when she was eliminated. I guess being eliminated with somebody helped ease her disappointment. The country boy Scott eh hit din dito sa amin...kaso nga parang isang tunog lang kaya nya....hahaha...
Thia has great talent....sayang , she's just so boring. I am never entertained by her performance . If I hear her on the radio , and not see her perform, it's fine and her voice is amazing....but as you said, she has no sense of "stage presence."
Anyway, spring in Cali is hot? Wow, up here, we're still freezing in spring. But I never , never like to reside in California. Everything is so bad there except for the weather.
Thanks for the visit, Binx! Yeah, though I support Thia's talent, I didn't feel so bad about her leaving AI. I didn't want anymore bad feedback on her performances and so ending them early felt like a relief. She'll grow up one day, I will wait for that time her performance matures and becomes solid.
Anyway, yeah, we get hot spells during spring. Not everyday, but they come! I actually like it here in Cali, it's really not all that bad except for the current economy and this earthquake thang. I've noticed people are "warmer" and friendlier on this coast, in every sense of the word. Plus, SF is like a melting pot of different cultures, it's kind of interesting for an artsy-fartsy like me...
