If you've been lurking around my blogsite, you probably have bumped into my very comprehensive (I'd like to think) article on the "Go Bag" which is the ever-proverbial last minute evacuation bag in times of natural or man-made calamities. It is a little luggage which you try to pack and put together and hopefully don't get an opportunity to use. I was actually referring to my own researched list from not so long ago as I put mine and the hubs' go-bag together earlier this evening (and a third one which I plan to make hubs carry as well LOL) in view of recent paranoia brought about by the recent disaster in Japan, and the looming possibility of an earthquake here in the Bay Area. There are still a lot of loose ends to tie, particularly in the canned food department (my sister already bought some for us during her recent trip to Costco and I just need to get them) but I'm happy to say that I've pretty much gotten it together. I just hope and pray that nothing devastating comes that will make us run for our lives with these go bags in tow. I hope and pray. I hope and pray.
I've also gotten a little first aid kit together, bandaids, triple antibiotics, alcohol wipes and all, including common medicines that might come in handy such as Theraflu and ordinary pain relievers. I am thinking of going the extra mile and buy cheap tramadol 24h for my kits (yup, 3 of them, so I really gotta buy tramadol hcl 24h huh!). I know I might not really need one but you'll never know who else can benefit from it. By the way, it is used for relieving moderate to moderately severe pain in extended release tablets for round-the-clock effct. I like to share and help when I can. If I'm going to pursue this, like dreaming of providing for the entire neighborhood and community, and easing everyone's pain, I really might as well buy tramadol online at lowest price. But then again, yes, hopefully nothing happens to warrant the need for any of this I'm talking about. It's just good to be ready than not. KNOCK ON WOOD...
Like I said, I've pretty much covered the basics.
Notes to self for tomorrow:
1. Get some flashlights into the bags.
2. Matches
3. Candles
4. Copies of IDs (Passport and Driver's License)
5. Family Picture (easy face identification)
6. Socks (oh I forgot that, good thing I remembered now)
7. Hats, beanies
8. Contact information (phone numbers of family members and next of kin)
9. Crackers
10.
I'll come back here when I think of something.
Apparently, I'm far from done!
